Tahlequah Writers set meeting

Area residents interested in becoming successful authors are invited to meet with the Tahlequah Writers at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cherokee Arts Center, 212 S. Water St., Tahlequah.

Attendees should bring four copies of up to four pages of their writing to use in breakout critique sessions. The group now has a Facebook page, and participants receive an email notice between meetings, which are monthly.

On the agenda will be a discussion of programs for enrichment, a possible writers festival in the fall, and local opportunities for sales. Updates on progress of submissions to publications or agents will be provided by participants.

Information: Karen Cooper, (918) 207-0093.
