Piano students receive state honor

Piano students of Nancy Shelton’s recently earned the Repertoire Award at the State Achievement Auditions sponsored by the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association. To earn this award they each had to play pieces from the Baroque, Classical Romantic, and 20th Century periods over a four-year period and earn a grade of at least a superior minus or better. In the front row are Jeramy Hunter, left, Michelle Grooms, and Camryn Runyan. In back are Laura Jardine, left, Peyton Chebahtah, and Bailey Tull.
