Funtastic Senior Follies to benefit AR

The Funtastic Senior Follies will hit the stage at 7 p.m. Jan. 24-25 and 2 p.m. Jan. 26 at Alice Robertson Junior High School, 402 N. S St.

The show, now in its fourth year, features music and dance reminiscent of past decades and comedy skits performed by 40 talented “old folks,” according to a media release.

The production is a community fundraiser to help replace the seats in the auditorium to complement its remodeled stage and new sound system.

“Alice Robertson has served many generations of students,” Isabel Cockle, the show’s co-director, said in the release. “We invite everyone to enjoy a fun show and support this fundraiser for AR.”

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. They are available at Soundworld, Crowning Moments and Alice Robertson. They will also be sold at the door.
