Kelly B. Todd benefit to take tropical atmosphere

— A fantasy “Night in the Tropics” will be created at Three Forks Harbor at 6:30 p.m. June 22.

The event will benefit children served by the Kelly B. Todd Cerebral Palsy and Neuromuscular Foundation.

A Caribbean dinner, consisting of Bahaman-basted whole roasted hog, jerk chicken and a variety of island side dishes, will be served. Tropical drinks and a cash bar will be available. Music will be provided by the Bamboo Boat Band of Dallas, featuring steel drums, percussion, guitar, horns and vocals. The music of Jamaica as well as Latin salsa and the Key West sounds of Jimmy Buffet will also be played throughout the evening.

Silent and live auctions will offer items including a quail hunt at a Missouri hunting lodge, a Drillers game party with food and drink for 18, and three days’ lodging in Snowmass/Aspen, Colo., for eight people.

Also scheduled is a Drawdown — a donation drawing in which the last name drawn wins. The winner will receive half of the jackpot, and the center will receive the other half. Drawdown tickets will be sold at the benefit or in advance with reserve tickets.

Early reservations are recommended, as seating is limited. Tickets are $50.

Reservations and information: (918) 682-4720, (918) 683-6600 or the center at (918) 683-4621.
