Eufaula bands featured at Plumb Theatre

— The Plumb Theatre’s month-long 10th anniversary winds down this weekend with two groups from Eufaula.

Jeweltone will be the featured band tonight. Carlene Shrabel, Dayle Travis, and Gayle Horn have been part of The Plumb Theatre since its opening in 2003, hosting the weekly all-gospel music show every Friday night.

This trio has been in gospel music for many years and sing a smooth blend, always pleasant, and exciting, according to a media release.

On Saturday night, Paul Maloy’s Country Music Show will present Olen Davis and The Travelers. Band leader Olen Davis, from Eufaula, on rhythm guitar; band members Mike Davis from Wainwright, on banjo; Bill Fowler from Muskogee, playing mandolin; Randy Weeks from Muskogee, on lead guitar; Gary Sizemore from Tahlequah, playing fiddle; and Tim Holder from McAlester, on bass, make up this bluegrass band.

There’s no charge for the Friday night show. The Saturday night show is $5. Both shows begin at 7:00 p.m. with the doors opening at 6 p.m.

The Plumb Theatre is located 5 & 1/2 miles east of Eufaula on Oklahoma 9 East.

The theatre is family-friendly with no smoking in the building and no alcohol allowed on the premises.
