— McIntosh County Retired Educators

The McIntosh County Retired Educators are sponsoring a driver safety class from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 15 at the Jim Lucas Library, 626 West Gentry Ave. in Checotah.

AARP members will pay $12 and nonmembers will pay $14. Theo Crawley will be the instructor. People completing the class will receive a certificate that entitles them to a discount for auto insurance. The amount of the discount can only be provided by your insurance company.

Bring a brown bag lunch because the break will be limited to 30 minutes. The teachers will provide coffee.
