Art Guild announces winners of Student Show

The Muskogee Art Guild recently announced the winners of its recent Student Art Show. A reception to honor the participants was held Thursday.

Best of Show— “Reflections,” watercolor, Dillon Coughran, 16.

First place in 3D — “Polar Bear,” soapstone, Parker Singleton, 12.

Painting and Drawing, ages 6-9

First place — “Still Life,” acrylic, Bryce Thornton, 7.

Second place — “Sunflowers,” acrylic, Brooklyn Thomas, 9.

Third place — “Lake of Peace,” acrylic, Emily Zbavitel, painted at 8.

Painting and Drawing, ages 10-16

First place — “Aspen Trees,” acrylic, Mattie Hurlburt, 12.

Second place — “Still Life,” acrylic, Mattie Hurlburt, 12.

Third place — “The Old Man,” Emily Goosman, 10.

Photography, ages 6-9

First place — “Sunrise Over the Hay Bales,” Jacob Slaughter, 8.

Second place — “Berries,” Troy Moore, 9.

Third place — “Flowers,” Wade Moore, 7.

Photography, ages 10-16

First place — “Pointe Shoes,” Sarah Allen, 16.

Other participating artists were Lydia Stinson, Gracie Stinson, Izzy Lashley-Bobb, Hannah Lashley-Bobb, Sarah Alexander, and Emily Robinson.
