Swon Brothers to perform Friday, Saturday

— The Swon Brothers will be performing at the Wagoner Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The show will include several of the community’s favorites, a few surprise covers and a couple of their new songs.

Their new CD, “The Swon Brothers,” will be included with the purchase of a ticket to the show.

Zach and Colton are only 25 and 21, but they have been making music for over a decade.  The guys were born and raised in Muskogee and have been performing here since they could make noise.

The Swon Brothers’ full band will be performing Friday, which includes a drummer, Joe Henderson, a guitar and piano player, Eric Gillette, and a fiddle player, Dave Gaylord.

The Swons enjoy playing with such talented performers and like how well they all fit musically.

The Swons have a show line up for their loyal fans who were there when it all began. The boys are confident that the show will not disappoint.

The Swons have been traveling and playing in several different states and have been receiving phone calls from radio stations requesting their music.

“It is such a cool feeling for people to request to hear our music and not just covers,” Swon said.

The music straight from Muskogee is something the Swons Brothers’ fans won’t want to miss.

The Swons will also kick off the Okie Country Music Fest at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
