— Muskogee Antiques and Collectibles Club

The Muskogee Antiques and Collectible Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Chandler Road Church of Christ, 3507 Chandler Rd.

James Edwards will speak about early plastic model ship and aircraft kits.  

Participants are invited to bring items for show and tell.  Refreshments will be served.  For information, call Betsy Edwards at (918) 683-1908.



World Class Speaker Toastmasters Club had a great time at its last meeting. As a part of the membership drive, members had wine and cheese. Lindsey Williams, the area governor, spoke about one of his most embarrassing moments, which happened during a game of golf.

A special guest, Nita Beshears, presented her contest entry speech: “You Can Change the Fabric of Your Life.”

Six guests and potential members attended. Toastmasters is always looking for new members; please come to the next meeting.

 Toastmasters meetings are at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays at the Three Rivers Museum, 220 Elgin, in Muskogee. The next meeting will be May 7.
