New Friends activities for March and April:

• March 20 — Meet at 10 a.m. at IHOP for bunch, then to Pat Adams’ for dominoes.

• March 22 — Cards and games. Meet at 11:15 a.m. at Cowboys for lunch and games. Call Dorothy Pack, (918) 682-2030 for bridge; call Pat Lattie, (918) 682-1704 for dominoes. Reservations are a must. If you cancel after March 21, you must pay for lunch.

• April 3 — Domino group meets at 11:30 a.m. at Pat Adams’.

• April 4 — Red Cross blood drive, call Pat Adams to volunteer as a hostess.

• April 5 — Board Meeting, meet at 10 a.m. at Odd Fellows. If unable to attend, call Vickie Sanders, (918) 682-4715.

• April 8 — General meeting at 9:30 a.m. at Odd Fellows for refreshments, meeting begins at 10 a.m. Guest speaker will be Al Stevens, community affairs representative with OG&E.

New Friends has nominated a new board of officers for the coming year:

• First vice president — Pat Lattie

• Second vice president — Ursula Shoats.

• Third vice president — Zereta Thompson.

• Secretary — Tamatha Jenkins.

• Treasurer — Thelma Terrill.

• Community services — Dee Paige.

• Historian — Ann Hilson.

• Hostesses — Pat Adams and June Blankenship.

• Publicity chairman — Virginia Garrison.

• Newsletter — Patti Smith.

• Advisor — Vicki Sanders.

• Sunshine lady — Helen Schaake.

All incoming and outgoing officers are asked to attend the May board meeting to give and receive information for accomplishing the work of each position. The board meeting for May is at 10 a.m. on May 3.
