Several homes on Saturday's historic places tour

— The 2013 This Place Matters Historic Homes and Buildings Tour will feature some of Muskogee’s most historic homes and buildings as well as an art exhibit. The tour is from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and will include the Welch home, Rowsey home, Severs Block, Grace Episcopal Church, the Morgan building and the Five Civilized Tribes Museum.

Tickets for self-guided tours are $12. For a guided tour, ride the trolley from Three Rivers Museum with a $15 ticket. The trolley will leave the museum at 12:15 p.m..

Tickets are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the museum, at each stop on the tour on the day of the tour or online at www.3riversmuseum.com.

The tour is co-sponsored by Downtown Muskogee Inc. and Three Rivers Museum.
