JA raises more than $9,000 at bowling party

— The Muskogee Junior Achievement Masquerade Bowl had a successful turnout, surpassing last year’s. Proceeds totaled more than $9,000.

The money will go to support more than 300 Muskogee students. About 2,000 Muskogee students were served during the 2012-13 school year.

Muskogee High School senior Bradan O’Dell received the $1,000 Junior Achievement Schusterman college scholarship. O’Dell participated as a Muskogee JA volunteer and student in JA Investor Challenge.
