Green Country Duplicate Bridge

Green Country Duplicate Bridge meets at 12:30 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding Blvd. Newcomers are welcome. If you are interested in playing or learning to play duplicate bridge, call Ann Kent at (918) 682-3098, Mary Smith at (918) 682-2605, or Sandy Cole at (918) 684-9002.

Recent winners:

• March 26 — Mary Hoover and Phyllis Smith first and Janice Chance and Helen Richmond second;

• March 28 — Marcia Robinson and Alice Barham were first, Jane Lopes and Betty Jordan were second;

• March 31 — Ann Kent and Dave Murdock were first, Betty Jordan and Ruth Sharpe second, Norma Kolmer and Linda Stearns third.

There will be STaC games on April 7 and 11 for silver points. On April 21 the club is going to Go-Ye Village in Tahlequah to join with the Tahlequah club. The group will leave from the Kiwanis Senior Citizens center at 11 a.m. for lunch at the village. Cost will be $ 5 to $7 for lunch and $ 2 for the game. Please sign up with your partner at the Senior Citizens center or call Ann or Mary. Please let us know if you could drive a car if needed.

Epsilon Sigma Alpha

Alpha Theta 1038 of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the home of Peggy Pate. Agenda items include voting on the 2014-2015 officers and discussing plans for the "Red Slipper" State Convention to be held in Tulsa April 26, 27 and 28. NARFE

The Muskogee Chapter of the National Association of Current and Retired Federal Employees will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center.

Guest speaker will be Jonita Mullins, author of “Journey to an Untamed Land.” A door prize will be drawn.All federal employees, members and guests are invited. Information: Ed Farris (918) 682-8839.
