Friends of Honor Heights Park
Friends of Honor Heights Park was established in 2008 in an effort to bring life to a vision for a butterfly display pavilion and demonstration gardens that was birthed into the minds of Mark Wilkerson and Matthew Weatherbee. Over the ensuing three years the organization has raised more than $200,000 in grants and donation matched by the Parks Department.
Would you consider joining us in our efforts to keep Honor Heights Park fresh and vital to our economy by becoming a member of the Friends of Honor Heights Association? We are always optimistic always enterprising and never satisfied. Your 2014 membership combined with many others helps us to accomplish for the parks that which could not be otherwise accomplished.

Omicron Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met March 4 at Integrity Pathways, hosted by Laura Roets. The meeting was called to order by Thelma Terrill, president, with members reciting the opening ritual. The minutes of the previous meeting and the treasurer’s report were read and approved. As discussed at the last meeting, members voted to participate in a fundraiser for Hope Kids. This will be a silent auction with date to be announced later. Members voted to keep the same slate of officers for the coming year. They are: Thelma Terrill, president; Debbie Schrader, vice-president; Kathleen McCaslin, secretary and Laura Roets, treasurer.
Laura introduced Dr. John V. Tedesco and his staff as our guest speakers. Dr. Tedesco is Board Certified in general and cosmetic surgery. His office is located at Green Country Surgical Arts. He gave a synopsis of his services in cosmetic surgery which was very interesting and informative.
