Thanksgiving food baskets available

— Several community groups are sponsoring a Thanksgiving food baskets giveaway.

People may sign up for food baskets at the Martin Luther King Center, 627 N. Third St.

The first 200 people who sign up can pick up their baskets at 7 p.m. Nov. 22 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 622 N. Sixth St.

Only one food basket will be distributed per household. People must present a photo ID and a utility bill with matching address at the time of the sign-up.

Sponsors of the Thanksgiving food baskets are the Muskogee Christian Minister Union, Muskogee Ministerial Alliance, Muskogee Concern Baptist Clergy, Hira Temple 116 and the Muskogee branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
