New Friends

Muskogee New Friends celebrated the Christmas holiday season with their annual luncheon held at the Odd Fellow’s Lodge. Virginia Garrison led the group with the singing of he Caroles, accompanied by Thelma Terril on the piano. Josie Fullen delighted everyone with the reading of a Christmas poem. The much anticipated drawing for the quilt was held. The lucky ticket was drawn by Virginia Russell, who was a guest at the luncheon.

The winner of the Muskogee New Friend’s 2012 Quilt was Illeta Rowan. The quilt was presented to Illeta at her place of work, Beyond the Fringe Beauty Salon, by Bonnie Baker and Esther Hunter. The Quilters Group of Muskogee New Friends are already in progress for the 2013 Quilt. Muskogee New Friends has other interest groups, they meet once a month and membership is always open.
