MPL adult literacy class schedule set

— The Muskogee Public Library’s adult literacy classes for 2013 are under way.

The Monday night GED class will begin Monday. The class will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. The last day for enrollment for the Monday evening GED class is Jan. 28.

The library will have a new U.S. citizenship test preparation class, which will meet from 11 a.m. to noon starting Jan. 28. The last day of enrollment for the Monday morning U.S. citizenship class will be Feb. 25.

There is ongoing enrollment for the following classes:

• GED classes from 9 to 11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

• English As a Second Language classes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays.

• U.S. citizenship test preparation class, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays.

Individual classes are scheduled for adults interested in improving their reading, writing, spelling, comprehension and math skills.

Individuals also can schedule individual meetings with tutors for GED, ESL, and U.S. citizenship studies.
