Quarter Note Club

While students transition from pep songs and marching to concert season and festive holiday tunes, the Muskogee High School band booster club seeks support from the community.

Upcoming expenses include instrument and equipment repair, uniform cleaning maintenance, transportation expenses, contest fees, meals for away trips and the Spring Performance Tour in May. More than 70 students are enrolled in band.

The Quarter Note Club strives to provide educational performance opportunities and personal skill development for Muskogee’s instrumental music education students.

“No matter the economic income for the individual, our goal is for every band student to participate in all the events and activities. They will remember this for the rest of their lives,” Keith Garrison, president of the Quarter Note Club, said in a media release.

The following is a select list of upcoming events and fundraisers for the club:

Enjoy music, snacks and door prizes while supporting downtown businesses. Coffee, hot chocolate, Christmas goodies and hand-made crafts available for purchase.
