Car show set to draw crowds this weekend By Wendy BurtonTimes Correspondent Much to their surprise, the day of the show brought 121 entries. “It just totally blew us away,” Atkinson said. The committee learned from its inexperience at that first show, he said. The show is now held downtown, and has been for the last 10 years or so. “We've had good support from the city and really good support from the business people and merchants in town,” he said. Sponsors of the event include the chamber, Terry Miller Pontiac, Keith True Value Hardware, Fort Gibson Tire and Wheel, Scott’s Pharmacy, Sonburst Graphics and Fort Gibson State Bank.
