Receiving honors at the Cherokee Nation Johnson O’Malley Indian Education awards banquet for taking first place in the Challenge Bowl competition in Di-So-Yv-i (Division four, grades 9-12) were, from left, front row: Kaytlyn Gilliam and Chellsiah Clark. Back row: Randy Cox, Blake Chandler and Eugena Graham. Each team member received a $50 gift card and a participation certificate. A team plaque was also awarded. Teachers Victor Wildcat and Karen Gillispie were also recognized for their work in teaching and preparing the students for the competition.
