April 14-20 is National Library Week. The 2013 theme is “Communities matters @ your library.”
The community of Fort Gibson is important to Q. B. Boydstun Public Library and we want the community to know that we are here to support you.
During National Library Week we will be giving away free “What do you Geek?” bumper stickers and other materials. We will also have a drawing for a “What do you Geek?” T-shirt.
Each day during the week that you check out books or movies, you can put your name in the drawing for the free T-shirt.
We are still looking for people to tell us what they geek (are passionate about) and to allow us to take their picture to hang up in the library.
Marilyn is still doing a program for teens (age 11 and up) at 4 p.m. every Tuesday.
Story time is held every Thursday morning at 10 a.m. and Judy has an excellent craft program scheduled at 4 p.m. tomorrow.
More programs are in the works, so watch for more information. There’s always something new at the “Q”!
