Genealogy group

sets field trip


The Fort Gibson Genealogy and Historical Society will not have a meeting this month, however they are going to have a field trip.

The group is going to the Muskogee Public Library Saturday for an entire day of research in the genealogy room.

The day will start at 9:30 a.m. when the library opens, and the ladies in the library are going to help with research.

Those doing research can take a sack lunch, and drinks will furnished. If you choose, you may go out and eat.

The group will stay until at least 3 p.m., but participants may stay a shorter or longer time. The library closes at 5:30 p.m.

Those going will need to take the surnames or info on what they need to research.
