Health Department seeks your input
Officials with the Oklahoma State Department of Health are seeking input from the public regarding the health needs of women and children in the state. Through Nov. 30, the OSDH Maternal and Child Health Service will post an online survey for public response to assess the needs of Oklahoma’s pregnant women, mothers, infants and children, including children with special health care needs.
This input is needed for the development of a state plan for services funded through the MCH Title V Block Grant (Title V of the Social Security Act) for the 2016-2020 fiscal years. Funds from the block grant assure that these groups, particularly those with low income or with limited availability of services, have access to health care.
The MCH online survey is anonymous and short, with 13 questions. To access: www.surveymonkey.com/s/MCHOklahoma. Hard copies of the survey also are available: Carolyn Marriott, (405) 271-6761 or email CarolynM@health.ok.gov.
Results from the survey will be available on-line afterJan. 1.
