Business gets awards

— Edward Jones financial adviser Mark W. Young and branch office administrator Carol Rouse in Fort Gibson were recently recognized for excellence in client service and building exceptional client relationships.

Young and Rouse were ranked within the top 25 percent of the country for their excellence in client service, according to a media release.

The recognition was based upon the results of a survey in which random clients were asked to rank the service they received form the staff of their local Edward Jones branch offices.

The survey identified Young and Rouse as “providing some of the most exemplary client service within the firm,” the release says.

Additionally, Young was awarded the firm’s Edward Jones Sr. Founders Award for his exceptional achievement in building client relationships, according to the release.

Young said the award is “truly an honor,” and it is “also quite inspirational to receive an award named after a firm legend such as Edward Jones Sr., who was so innovative and recognized the need for quality financial advice for long-term individual investors.”

In January, for the 14th year, Edward Jones was named one of the best companies to work for by FORTUNE Magazine in its annual listing. The firm ranked No. 8 overall, according to the media release.
