Cantrell named to OBU Honor Roll

                                            

Fort Gibson resident Hannah Cantrell, a freshman at Oklahoma Baptist University, was named to the President’s Honor Roll for the fall 2013 semester.

Students who achieved a semester grade point average of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale are named to the President’s Honor Roll. Those who achieved a grade point average between 3.4 and 3.69 are listed on the Dean’s Honor Roll.

OBU, a Christian liberal arts university, has an overall enrollment of 2,097, with students from 34 states and 30 other countries.

OBU offers 10 bachelor’s degrees with 84 fields of study and three master’s degree programs.

Safety, health topic of meeting

The Safe School/Healthy and Fit Kids Meeting is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. Feb. 18 in the Intermediate Elementary conference room.

The agenda will include discussion/recommendations for maintaining a safe school environment, and discussion/recommendations relating to health and fitness for Intermediate Elementary students.
