Ribbon cutting: Clifford D. Garrett Family Funeral Home

About 40 people participated June 13 for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting for the new Clifford D. Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located in Fort Gibson, at 1224 E. Poplar. About 40 friends, family, town officials, including Mayor Brad Clinkenbeard and members of the Fort Gibson Chamber of Commerce, joined Garrett and his wife Carmen. Everyone toured the facility as Cliff explained each room and its function within the funeral service facility. Pictured in the photo, Cliff and wife Carmen with daughter Camryn and son Carson are shown in the middle, with Chamber Director Gary Perkins and an array of friends and family surrounding them. Funeral service information can be obtained by calling Cliff at (918) 478-2555.
