FG grad to retire after 20 years military service

— Master Sergeant Tommy “Brian” McKinzie, a 1990 Fort Gibson graduate, retired Feb. 1 from the United States Air Force after completing 20 years of active military service. During his enlistment as a security forces specialist and structural craftsman, he completed numerous tours in Turkey, Kuwait and Iraq during Operation’s Provide Comfort, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. McKinzie was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his accomplishments and currently resides in Missouri with his wife and five of his seven children.
