Local church beautifies park on Earth Day

The Church on the Word held a special Redbud tree-planting ceremony this past Sunday at Langston Park on South Lee Street. Pastors Rennie and Patty Ohl, along with many of their members, were celebrating Earth Day and their one year anniversary in Fort Gibson. Church on the Word is based in Warner, but also meets here each Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Community Center.
