Area scholar makes RSU Dean’s List
Rogers State University in Claremore recently announced its President’s and Dean’s honor rolls for the fall 2013 semester.
Included in that list is Zoe L. Decamp of Fort Gibson, who was on the Dean’s List.
To qualify for the President’s Honor Roll, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours of college-level courses with a 4.0 grade point average. To qualify for the Dean’s Honor Roll, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours of college-level courses with a 3.5 grade point average.
FG native honored by CPAs’ magazine
A Fort Gibson native has been included in the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants’ 2014 Trailblazers in conjunction with a special issue of the society’s magazine.
Rodney England, CPA, CGMA, is a tax manager with Peters & Chandler, P.C., in Oklahoma City, and his hometown is Fort Gibson.
The program, established in 2010, is to recognize the innovation, dedication and community commitment of the OSCPA’s “New CPAs,” defined as members who are under the age of 40 or have five or fewer years of CPA experience.
