What’s New at the “Q”? 05.01.13

School is almost out so that can mean only one thing at the Fort Gibson Public Library — Summer Reading Program!

Readers of all ages will explore all things underground this summer as Q.B. Boydstun Public Library presents “Dig Into Reading” during the summer program.

Tuesdays and Fridays will be program days at the library. Wednesdays will be Lego Club. Thursdays will be story time in the morning and crafts in the afternoon.

We have many programs planned this summer. We will have animals, a magician, a juggler and more.

We are in the process of getting the library ready for all of our programs. As a result, we need to sell as many of our book sale items as possible.

Not only will selling books help us get our room ready for summer, proceeds will also help us pay for our performers.

Saturday we will reduce prices on our book sale items.

So, if you need reading material to take on your summer vacation or you just want to help support the summer reading program, please stop by and pick out a few items.

More programs are in the works, so watch for more information. There’s always something new at the “Q”!

Q.B. Boydstun Library hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Information: Q.B. Boydstun Library at 201 E. South Ave., call (918) 478-3587 or at www.eodls.lib.ok.us/ft_gibson.html.
