Title I Compact

The Fort Gibson Intermediate Elementary School will hold a Title I Compact Meeting at 6 p.m. tonight in the Intermediate Elementary cafeteria.

The agenda includes an overview of our program, revision of our compact, a needs assessment, and presentations on how parents can assist their child in reading.

Basketball teams

selling Tiger cards

Fort Gibson Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball teams are selling Tiger cards.

The price is $10, and this year’s card features five pop-off specials for food items.

NSU Centurions

to add members

In celebration of Northeastern State University's Founder’s Day 2014, the university will add 10 new members to the roll of NSU Centurions.

Anyone can submit a nomination. The nominee can be living or deceased and should embody the legacy and spirit of NSU.

Nominations are also accepted by mail at Office of the President, attn.: Julienne, Northeastern State University 600 N. Grand Ave. Tahlequah 74464 or by fax at (918) 444-2015. Nominations must be submitted by Nov. 29.

The new Centurions will be named the first week of January and honored during a special luncheon March 6.
