are all-state tennis

Micah Lemoine's “gut-it-out” approach to the state tennis tournament may have not netted gold, but he didn't walk away empty-handed.
Tahlequah's Travis Fillmore, who won the No. 1 singles state championship in tennis on Saturday, and Lemoine, who finished third in that same division, both were named on Monday to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State team.
Fillmore, who will be attending Brigham Young University, edged Lemoine, an MHS senior, 6-3, 7-6 in the semifinals. Lemoine, who has verbally committed to Illinois State, suffered from severe dehydration in the match but finished and then had to withdraw from further action.
The OCA All-State games will be at Oaktree Country Club in Edmond on July 29.
