Boys basketball

EUFAULA 55, STIGLER 35 – at Stigler, the Eufaula Ironheads won convincingly over Stigler behind the scoring efforts of Devon Siers with 16 points, Braxton Williams with 14 points and Gage Durrett with 12 points. Dylan Bryant scored 12 points to lead Stigler. Eufaula pulled ahead early and led by 18 points at the half and maintained a sizeable lead through the second half on the way to victory. Eufaula (6-3) will host Beggs Friday. Stigler (4-6) travels to play Hartshorne tonight.

Girls basketball

STIGLER 53, EUFAULA 33 – at Stigler, the Stigler Lady Panthers pulled ahead early and led by 17 points at the half. Their biggest lead was 29 points in the second half as they improved to 6-4. The Lady Panthers were led by the scoring of Hannah Garman with 15 points, Nina Echelle with 13 points and Bailey Wilson with 11 points. Stigler will play at Hartshorne tonight. Eufaula (4-5) will play host to Beggs Friday.


WAGONER 39, FORT GIBSON 30 – The Wagoner Bulldogs captured eight of the 14 matches to win the dual over Fort Gibson.

Wagoner’s winners were Trey Ivey at 106 pounds, Jory Brumnett (120), Trenton Miller (126), Josh Denman (138), Garret Maher (145), Brad Boswell (152), Tucker Hoffman (160) and Derek Marshall (Hvy.)

Fort Gibson winners were Ryan Waldman at 113 pounds, Brayden Williams (132), Zach Peterson (170), Justin Cates (182), Logan Wood (195) and Michael Rosales (220).
