— WAGONER 51, GROVE 14 — Lawrence Evitt, the reigning Phoenix Player of the  Week, ran for 230 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns on runs of 52 and 36 yards to lead the Bulldogs, ranked No. 3 in the Associated Press Class 4A poll, to the victory.

Evitt now has 629 yards rushing on 47 carries and six touchdowns. He’s averaging 14.7 yards per carry for the 2-1 Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Dylan Cantrell caught a 34-yard TD pass, Kerwin Thomas h ad two touchdown runs of 12 and 70 yards. Quarterback Decarius Clark completed eight of nine passes for 135 yards and a TD pass of 12 yards to Wyatt Probst.

VIAN 57, MULDROW 0 – The halftime score was 50-0 as Vian (3-0) amassed 22 first downs and 331 yards of total offense, 254 of which was on the ground.  Muldrow had three first downs and 89 yards of offense.

Landon Decker went 5-for-6 passing for 77 yards and carried the ball seven times for 24 yards and two touchdowns.  Eric Casey and Rowdy Simon both scored twice as Casey finished with 12 carries for 45 yards and Simon nine carries for 41 yards.

KEYS 19, EUFAULA 13 –  The score was tied at halftime at 13.

Eufaula (0-3) was led in rushing by Cody Holder-Cathy with 20 carries for 109 yards and a touchdown.  The Ironhead’s quarterback Dillon Larking passed 12-for-21 for 101 yards with two interceptions.  Casey Pryor had 10 carries for 50 yards and Cody Farris added three catches for 46 yards for Eufaula.

CHOUTEAU 45, PORTER 8 –  Porter’s (1-2) lone score came off a one-yard dive from Nick Carpenter.  The extra two points came off of a safety after Chouteau made an error hiking the ball deep in their own territory.

WARNER 36, PANAMA 6 –  The Eagles’ Justin Wright led the way in the win with 80 yards on 10 carries plus a 38-yard touchdown reception.  Kyle Taylor totalled 70 yards on five carries including a 40-yard score for Warner (3-0).  Taylor also had a 17-yard touchdown reception.  Anthony Carney was under center for the Eagles and passed for 102 yards on 6-of-13 passing with two touchdowns.

HEAVENER 31, GORE 21 — Despite quarterback Robert Clark completing 22 of 50 passes for 354 yards and three touchdowns as the Pirates lost their first game in three this season. Clark tossed passes of 25, 54 and 15 yards in the loss.

WELEETKA 34, PORUM 0 –  Porum (1-2) got the ball to the 10-yard line in the second half but succumbed to downs.  

Darren Bollman led The Panthers with 78 yards on 19 carries.  Dakota Wright led the Porum defense with 12 tackles.

WEBBERS FALLS 45, MIDWAY 0 –  The game ended with eight minutes to go in the third quarter as the Warriors (3-0) passed for 170 yards and rushed for three.

In the last play before halftime, Webbers Falls quarterback Jamie Carey completed a 65-yard touchdown pass to Taylor Stephens.  C.J. Lehnick had an 80-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.

SALLISAW 38, TAHLEQUAH 20 –  The Tigers led 20-10 at halftime but after the break Sallisaw piled on 28 unanswered points.  The Class 4A No. 6 Black Diamonds piled up 258 yards of offense in the second half.

Tahlequah (0-3) was led in rushing by Mason McMillan’s 173 yards on 28 carries including a 60-yard score.  David Dick finished passing 8-of-17 for 139 yards and a touchdown for the Tigers.
