Two seniors sign NLIs

Muskogee’s J.T. Andrews and Okay’s Courtney Smith signed letters of intent this week to compete in wrestling and basketball, respectfully.

Andrews signed with Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, and Smith is headed for Independence Community College in Independence, Kan.

Andrews was fourth in 160-pound division in Class 6A wrestling this past season.

Smith averaged 14.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and six assists and 3.1 steals for the Lady Mustangs this past season and shot 34 percent from 3-point range and 81 percent from the free-throw line.
