TAHLEQUAH 59, ENID 57 — The fast start of the Tigers (1-1) earned them a first-round win, 59-47 over Enid in the Tahlequah Invitational. Tahlequah led 19-11 after one quarter and 36-23 at the half. Enid is 0-3. Matt Alberty had 21 points for Tahlequah to lead all scorers, edging out teammate Dalton Cunningham who had 20.  Sand Springs beat Moore 70-64, Lawton MacArthur beat Sapulpa 70-68 and Van Buren, Ark., beat Coweta 60-55 in overtime in other games.

WILBURTON TOURNAMENT — Eufaula beat Spiro JV 56-40 as Gage Durrett put up a double-double for the Ironheads scoring 23 points and pulling down 10 boards. Eufaula got up big early and maintained the lead all night. Devin Seirs and Daxton Williams each had 11 points. The Ironheads improved to 1-1 and play Wilburton in the consolation round today at 2:30 p.m.

Stigler was an 87-41 loser to Spiro. Gibson McAlvain had seven points for Stigler (1-2), which plays Wright City for third place at 5:30 p.m. Spiro led 49-17 at the half.

WARNER 73, INDIANOLA 20 — KT Parker led all scorers in a blowout victory for the Eagles at the Darrell James Shootout at Canadian, pouring in 19 points. Jacob Crabtree had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds and Tyler Wardlow added 16. The Eagles were up 28-6 at half and outscored Indianola 32-7 in the third to pull away for good. Warner (2-1) plays  Achille in the semifinals today at 7 p.m.


WILBURTON TOURNAMENT — Erin Gray led all scorers with 23 points and hit two free throws with :40 seconds to play, giving Eufaula a 42-40 win over Wright City. The defense held, not allowing Wright City a shot as time expired. Ashley Laughlin added 10 points for the Lady Ironheads (2-1). Eufaula plays in the consolation round against Stigler today at 1 p.m.

Stigler beat Hartshorne 51-38. The Lady Panthers (2-1) outscored the Lady Miners 16-6 in the third quarter to lead 41-31. Bailey Wilson led the way for Stigler with 15 points while Nina Echelle and Turquoise McAlvain each had 11.

TAHLEQUAH INVITATIONAL — Tulsa Memorial beat Tahlequah 53-47, leading by nine points after three quarters before the Lady Tigers (1-1) were able to whittle the lead a bit. Whitney Wright with 16 points was the lone Tahlequah player in double figures. Also, Enid beat Coweta 50-37, Sand Springs took care of Rogers, Ark., Heritage 60-37 and Yukon defeated Van Buren, Ark., 49-33.

WARNER 68, INDIANOLA 15 — In the Darrell James Shootout at Canadian, the Lady Eagles scored 20 points in each of the first two quarters and led 40-8 at halftime in route to a blowout. Warner was led by 12 points from Raven Girty and Zadie McElhaney added 11. The starters were pulled after halftime. The Lady Eagles (1-1) play Kinta in the semifinals today at 4 p.m.
