— CLASS 4A — Anadarko took advantage of a Poteau fumble one yard from an opening score, answering with a 99-yard scoring drive and added two defensive TDs in a span of barely a minute, rolling to a 40-0 win at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater.

It was 34-0 at the half. It was the second state title for the Warriors (14-0), who defeated Wagoner in the semifinals last week. Anadarko also won it in 3A in 2011 and made the 4A title game last season before losing to Clinton.

The Warriors’ swarming defense held Poteau (12-2) to 39 total yards, including just 1 rushing yards and forced four turnovers.

CLASS 5A — Guthrie  used 484 yards of offense to roll past McAlester 51-21 in a battle of high-scoring outfits in Stillwater. The Blue Jays (14-0) were particularly dominant in the ground game, rushing for 321 yards to 123 for McAlester (12-2).

CLASS C — At Weatherford, Tanner Ducotey rushed for 275 yards and two touchdowns as Cherokee (12-0) beat Tipton (11-1) 38-14 to cap off a perfect season.

CLASS B —  Trevor Harris ran for touchdowns covering 77, 70, 51 and 4 yards Saturday as Laverne completed a perfect season with a 42-12 victory over Pond Creek-Hunter at Weatherford.

Harris had 297 yards rushing on 16 carries as Laverne wrapped up a 14-0 season with a 450-yard rushing effort. Pond Creek-Hunter finished 12-2. Last season, Laverne beat Pond Creek-Hunter 50-19 in the title game.
