PLAYER OF THE WEEK/HONOR ROLL Week 8: Checotah senior learning on the fly


Honor roll

T.D. Addy, Checotah – Completed 21 of 31 passes for 397 yards and four touchdowns in the 47-12 win against Idabel.

Mason McMillan, Tahlequah – Gained 179 yards rushing on 28 carries and scored a touchdown in the 40-13 loss to Pryor.

Lawrence Evitt, Wagoner – Gained 326 yards rushing on 25 carries and scored on TD runs of 63 and 80 yards in the 40-24 win against Cleveland.

Decarius Clark, Wagoner – Completed 9 of 17 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns against Cleveland.

Kerwin Thomas, Wagoner – Grabbed six passes for 154 yards and TD catches of 97 and 9 yards and ran for touchdowns of 25 and 47 yards versus Cleveland.

Jake Gandara, Fort Gibson – Ran for 146 yards on 15 carries and scored on a 69-yard touchdown run in the 35-7 loss to Cascia Hall.

Miles Jackson, Hilldale – Ran two times for 87 yards including a 75-yard TD  and intercepted a pass in the 48-0 win against Keys.

Bradley Campbell, HIlldale – Intercepted two passes and returned one 35 yards for a touchdown versus Keys.

Jamaul Cullom, Hilldale – Gained 96 yards rushing on nine carries and scored on a 66-yard run, while making seven tackles against Keys.

Jake Adams, Hilldale – Made 12 tackles, had a tackle for a loss and recovered a fumble in the win over Keys.

Josh Giem. Hilldale – Registered 11 tackles, one for a loss and broke up a pass against Keys.

Brayden Scott, Sequoyah – Completed 11 of 21 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns in the 46-24 victory against Jay.

Ryan Helsley, Sequoyah – Grabbed five passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Jay.

Ryan Echelle, Stigler – Made 20 tackles and intercepted a pass in the 54-7 win against Heavener.

Colton Shearwood, Stigler – Caught five passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns against Heavener.

Trace Jackson, Stigler – Had 10 carries for 105 yards and three touchdowns versus Heavener.

Deondre Owens, Checotah — Caught 10 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns in the win against Idabel.

Dillon Larkin, Eufaula – Completed 14 of 19 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown in the 44-15 loss to Roland.

Rowdy Simon, Vian – Gained 97 yards rushing on four carries and scored twice in the 75-0 win against Wilburton.

Warren Zachary, Vian – Had touchdown runs of 60 and 61 yards in the win against Wilburton.

Eric Casey, Vian – Ran 15 yards for a touchdown and returned a punt 50 yards for another TD in the win over Wilburton.

Kyle Taylor, Warner – Gained 84 yards rushing on 10 carries and scored two touchdowns in the 51-8 win against Fairland.

Robert Clark, Gore – Complete 19 of 37 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns in the 25-18 loss to Hartshorne.
