OKTAHA 11, POCOLA 4 – Daceauda Davis pitched a complete game to lead the Oktaha Tigers past Pocola on Thursday.

Davis (1-1) gave up three runs and six hits while striking out 10 batters. Caleb Shoemake led the Tigers (2-4) going 5-for-5 with three runs scored and one RBI while Dalton Martin was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

CHELSEA 6, WARNER 5 – Up 5-0 heading into the sixth inning, the Warner Eagles committed five errors and walked three batters to let Chelsea come from behind to win the contest at the Ketchum tournament on Thursday.

Gage Sparrow started for the Eagles (10-2) and pitched into the sixth inning, giving up one earned run and three hits. Tristan VanDaley (1-2) came on in relief and took the loss.

Cody Coffman had one hit a two RBIs. The Eagles play Foyil at 2 p.m. today in the tournament.

LOCUST GROVE 9, HILLDALE 6 – Hilldale outhit Locust Grove 10 to four but could not overcome 12 walks and four errors while playing most of the game in inclement weather.

The Hornets (8-5) were led by Hunter Harrison who was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Miles Jackson was 2-for-3 and Cameron Orman was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Hilldale back in action on Monday at Oologah.

CHECOTAH 13, BRISTOW 4 — Playing at the Mannford Tournament, Cade Christian had three hits, drove in a run and scored twice.

Cody Cox added two hits, scored twice and drove in a run, while Caleb Knight hit a solo home run in the second inning for his second of the season as part of his three hits and four RBIs.

T.D. Addy added two hits, two RBIs and two runs, while Hunter Collins had two hits and two RBIs.

Jack Christian, one of four pitchers used, was the winning pitcher as Checotah (9-4) plays Glenpool at 2 p .m. and Dewey at 4:30 p.m. in pool play at Mannford.

VIAN 12, TIMBERLAKE 0 —Rowdy Simon pitched a no-hitter and struck out six in three innings as the Wolverines (9-1) run-ruled Timberlake in the Ripley Tournament.

Simon was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Dan Weer was 2-for-2. Vian moves on to the semifinals and plays Dover at 6:45 tonight.
