Boys

PORTER 71, PORUM 38 –
Jacob Richardson scored a game-high 31 points as the Pirates topped the Porum Panthers in Riverside Conference action at the Porter gym on Monday night.

The Pirates improved to 16-5 overall and 8-0 in conference. Porum slipped to 8-7 and 6-2.

VIAN 62, WESTVILLE 53 – The Wolverines (7-10) broke open at 30-27 halftime lead to take the victory at Vian’s gym.

Shawn Troutman and Eric Casey had 15 points each and Zac Vickers added 12.

Girls

PORUM 46, PORTER 34 –
The Lady Panthers evened their records at 8-8 overall and 5-5 in Riverside Conference play.

Cierra Richardson led the Porter (3-17, 1-8) with 11 points.

WESTVILLE 45, VIAN 41 – Despite Nese Walters’ 18 points, the Lady Wolverines (10-7) fell at home.

Vian trailed 11-4 in the first quarter and 25-14 at halftime. It was Vian’s second straight loss after losing to Oktaha this past Saturday.
