HENRYETTA 56, OKTAHA 40 — The 2A No. 4 Tigers (19-3) led 14-10 after one quarter, but Dustin Leach had the only field goal in the second quarter as his team fell behind 23-19 and never recovered. It was Leach’s only field goal of the game. A 17-9 fourth quarter for the Knights (18-3 and No. 6 in 3A) iced it.

Blake Pittman had 17 points, 11 in the second half for Oktaha, followed by Christian McIntosh with 14 points, 10 after the break. Chet Caywood led Henryetta with 17 points.

SALLISAW CENTRAL 65, HULBERT 59 — Hulbert (11-10, 5-4 Big Eight) fell behind 17-10 in the opening quarter and closed to within 26-24 at the half. The Riders kept it close through most of the second half but let it slip away late. Craig Potts had 12 points for Hulbert followed by Brandon Thompson with 10.

CATOOSA 58, WAGONER 54 — At home, Wagoner (9-12, 4-8 Verdigris Valley) had a 32-23 halftime lead and 44-40 going into the fourth, but hit just one field goal after that. Kerwin Thomas had 12 points, 11 in the first half. Lateze Clayton had 12 points.  Six-foot-5 junior Ya’aquoob King had six points, 12 rebounds and five blocks. Catoosa improved to 10-11.

EUFAULA 54, MORRIS 42 — Eufaula (11-9, 6-2)  won a Big Eight Star Conference game over Morris behind a 20-11 fourth quarter. Forrest Paden and Devin Garfield led with 12 points each while Cody Faries added 11 points. Daxton Williams had 10 points.

POCOLA 53, STIGLER 43 —  The Panthers (8-12, 3-5) trailed 25-21 at the half at home and went on to lose. Dominique Unruh-Cone led Stigler with 10 points.

GORE 48, VIAN 35 — The Pirates (10-9, 3-5 Big Eight) won at home behind Jake Johnson’s 20 points and James Bird with 11 points. Shawn Troutman led the Wolverines (7-11, 3-7) with 10 points.

PORTER 65, BRAGGS 56 — Fighting an ankle injury, Jacob Richardson had a game-high 43 points for the Pirates (18-5, 8-0 Riverside). Clint Miller added 15 points.

TAHLEQUAH 39, COLLINSVILLE 38 — The Tigers (7-12, 4-6) earned a Metro Lakes Conference win against Collinsville. Tahlequah led all the way until a minute left in the game when Collinsville jumped ahead 36-35. Key defensive stops and free throws helped Tahlequah regain the lead.  Lane Wright was the lone double-figure scorer for the Tigers with 19 points.

LOCUST GROVE 56, KEYS 53 — Keys (10-10) let a four-point lead slip away in the final three minutes. Payton Ragsdale had 22 points and Trevor Eubanks 16.



OKTAHA 62, HENRYETTA 57 — Lanessa Grayson had six of her 14 points in the fourth quarter to help the 2A No. 4 Lady Tigers (21-1) hold off a 3A No. 6 Henryetta rally at Henryetta (11-10). Shelby Gamble had 15 and Jaylie Roper had 14 for Oktaha, which led 48-37 going into the fourth quarter and had outscored the Lady Knights in each of the first three quarters. Alissa Taylor’s 21 points was game-high for Henryetta, including nine of those in the fourth quarter.

CATOOSA 41, WAGONER 29 — At home and through four lead changes and three ties, Wagoner (3-18, 1-11 Verdigris Valley) led 25-22 at the half, but went into a deep freeze in the second half offensively, scoring four points and committing 15 turnovers. Cherokee Ridge had 10 points and 12 rebounds, 8 in the second quarter and  a single basket in the third. Catoosa is 10-11.

EUFAULA 68, MORRIS 55 — Playing at home, the Lady Ironheads (14-6, 6-2) used their transition offense and improved defensive play to get past the Lady Eagles. Alyssa Banks lead the way for the Lady Ironheads with a game-high 30 points followed by Janet Hill’s 16.

HULBERT 36, CENTRAL SALLISAW 32 — Hulbert (14-6) held off Central Sallisaw at home after getting outscored 20-13 in the second half. The Lady Riders had a pair of double-doubles in Allison Arnall and Lindsey Krueger as each had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

PORTER 38, BRAGGS 30 — At home, the Lady Pirates (4-17,1-8) beat the Lady Wildcats to get their first Riverside Valley Confernce win. Porter at the half was losing 23-17 when it  turned up its defense pressure and held Braggs to seven second-half points. Tinesha Carmichael had 14 points to lead Porter.

POCOLA 56, STIGLER 51 — The Lady Panthers (8-12, 5-3) dropped a Black Diamond Conference game to Pocola at home. Stigler was leading 25-24 going into the second half when foul trouble and Pocola’s size advantage in the post turned the game from Stigler’s favor.

Nina Echelle led the way for Stigler with 22 points and Bailey Wilson added 13 points.

LOCUST GROVE 59, KEYS 48 — The Lady Cougars (10-9) trailed 34-25 at the half. Sydney Rainbolt sat most of the first half with foul trouble. She finished with 16 points.

COLLINSVILLE 58, TAHLEQUAH 55 — Marisa Girdner, Casey Beaston and Whitney Wright each had 12 points as the Lady Tigers lost a game that was tied 35-all through three quarters.
