OKTAHA GIRLS WIN — Led by Kailey Campbell, the Oktaha Lady Tigers won the Liberty Tournament with a team total of 344. Ten teams played in the tournament at Clary Fields Golf Course in Sapulpa.

Campbell tied Rejoice Christian’s Katie Lee Wilson for medalist honors with a 73. The other Lady Tigers included Jaylie Roper finishing third with a 76, while Dakota Dearman shot a 95 and Madyson Fox a 100.

PORUM 7, MCCURTAIN 3 – The Lady Panthers kept their record perfect on the season with the win over McCurtain on Monday.

Makala Tillery (11-0) got the win in the circle as Porum improved to 12-0. Johnna Bailey was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, Keisha Mahan was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and Katie McCullar was 1-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI.

BRAGGS 9, HENRYETTA 2 – Maggie Swarthout improved to 12-2 on the season in leading Braggs over Henryetta on Monday.

Lauren Burk and Makayla Coen both went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI for the Wildcats (14-3) while Hannah Mackey was 1-for-4 with an RBI.

SEQUOYAH WINS TWO — Playing a three-way at Locust Grove, the Lady Indians hit four home runs and defeated Fairland 16-0 and beat the host Lady Pirates 13-2 in five innings as Kara Linch hit her second homer of the day.

Kelsey Leach, Mariah Hooper and Julie Scrapper also homered against Fairland. Leach and Linch each had three hits against Locust Grove. Mariah Hooper was the winning pitcher in both games as Sequoyah improved to 5-3.

CHECOTAH DROPS TWO – The Wildcats dropped both games on Monday, falling to Haskell 18-9 and Kellyville 15-3.

In the first game, Kelsey Casey took the loss for Checotah. Kory Carmack, Samantha Henin and Kristen Williams each went 2-for-3 with Henin scoring twice while LeeLee Horner had three RBIs.

Game two saw Carmack absorb the loss for Checotah (1-5). Horner was 2-for-2 and the runs were scored by Carmack, Casey and Kiah Hill.

BERRYHILL 10-15, FORT GIBSON 4-3 – The Lady Tigers dropped both ends of Monday’s doubleheader at Berryhill.

Taylor Cosby took the loss in game one to fall to 2-7 on the season. She was also 2-for-3 at the plate and joined CheyAnne Johnson and Toni Rowland who also went 2-for-3. Johnson had two RBIs and hit her second home run of the season.

In the nightcap, Amber Moore (0-1) took the loss. Carla Horton and Isabell Hubbert were both 2-for-3 with one of Hubbert’s hits being her second home run of the season.
