Sequoyah pair sign NLIs

Two Sequoyah High athletes signed letters of intent on Wednesday.

Grayden Elrod signed a letter of intent to play college football at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, N.M. The 6-foot, 240-pound Elrod had 71 tackles, 24 for loss and 11 sacks as a nose guard for the Indians in 2012.

Courtney Jones inked with Crowder (Mo.) Community College. The Neosho, Mo., school gets the 5-foot-6 All-Phoenix guard who averaged 12 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3.2 assists.
