OKAY 58, MOUNDS 48 — At Okay, the Mustangs opened up the season with a win at home, led by the scoring of Darius Riggs with 26 points and Zac Cagle with 11 points. Okay began to pull away in the second quarter scoring 19 points while holding Mounds to 7 points and leading 34-23 at halftime.  Okay (1-0) is at Hulbert on Friday.

BRAGGS 68, KINTA 47 — At Braggs, the Wildcats managed to spread the scoring around led by Payton York with 18 points, Brody Igent with 16 points, Rowdy Ensminger with 13 points, and Blaine Dunlap with 10 points. Braggs improves to 2-1 and will host Cave Springs on Friday.

Girls

MOUNDS 49, OKAY 24 — At Okay, Kyndra Whiteday had nine points as the Lady Mustangs (0-1) trailed from the tipoff, including 11-5 after one quarter, and Mounds steadily pulled away. Okay is at Hulbert on Friday.

KINTA 31, BRAGGS 25 — At Braggs, Krissy Perry led the way for the Lady Wildcats with 20 points, but it was ultimately Kinta who pulled out the win. The Lady Wildcats fall to 0-1. Braggs hosts Cave Springs on Friday.
