Three area teams remain in the postseason and after Sunday, all know their next destinations.
Wagoner will take on top-ranked Anadarko on Saturday at Stillwater High School at 1:30 p.m. in a Class 4A semifinal. The No. 2 Bulldogs, coming off a 28-21 win against Woodward, find themselves in a rematch of last season's semifinal won by Anadarko 24-14.
The Warriors lost to Douglass in the championship game to end a 28-game win streak. They are 12-0 since. Anadarko beat Catoosa 40-14 last week.
In Class 3A , No. 10 Hilldale, by virtue of its 14-12 win against No. 4 Metro Christian, gets third-ranked Seminole, a 55-27 winner against Heritage Hall, in a quarterfinal. The Hornets at 10-2 will play host in a 7:30 kickoff Friday night. Seminole has yet to lose this season.
Both teams share one common opponent this season. Seminole defeated Lincoln Christian 76-43 in its season opener. Hilldale knocked off the Bulldogs, who are among the eight teams still alive in 3A, 37-14.
In Class 2A, No. 3 Vian and No. 4 Hennessey's roads intersect a third consecutive season. Vian (12-0) lost 18-7 at Hennessey (11-1) two years ago and the Wolverines won at Vian 43-13 in last year's third round before losing in the semifinals to Davis. The two play again at Hennessey at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
