Boys basketball

Nigel King scored 25 points with four 3s for the Mustangs (4-6) in the road win.

EUFAULA 33, SAVANNA 31 —Playing in the Henryetta Tournament, the Ironheads (5-4) downed the Bulldogs (6-4) behind two clutch free throws by Eaxton Williams with three seconds left. The Ironheads’ leading scorer was Cody Pharies with 13 points. Eaxton Williams was the leading rebounder for the Ironheads with 9. Christian Carter led Savanna with 11. Eufaula plays Weleetka at 6:20 p.m. Thursday. The leading scorer for the Bulldogs was Christian Carker with 11 points .

WEBBERS FALLS 41, MIDWAY 24 — The Warriors got 19 points from Jordan Sharp and 10 from Michael Milligan as the Chargers fell to 1-10.

PORUM 52, BRAGGS 49 — The Panthers (6-4) rallied from 20 points down to win. Leading the three was Austin Wright with 15 points, Jordan Doke had 14, and Dakota Machom had 10. The Wildcats had two scorers in double figures with Tatum Livingston leading the way with 17 points and Tayton York with 12.

Keys 40, Grove 32 — Class 3A No. 10 Keys took advantage of Grove’s late scoring lull for a 40-32 win in the first round of the Bank of Locust Grove Invitational.

The Cougars (8-4) advance to take on Class 2A No. 8 Ketchum in the semifinals Thursday at 5:50 p.m.

Trevor Eubanks led the Cougars with 13 points, and Cody Cole added 12 points for Keys.

Girls basketball

In the Henryetta Tournament, the Lady Ironheads (5-4) get the win over the Lady Knights JV (0-1) with 13 of their 14 girls scoring on the night. The lone double figurescorer was Eufaula’s Alyssa Banks with 14 points. The Lady Ironheads continue tournament play Thursday vs Wilburton at 5 p.m.

VIAN 73, SALLISAW 67 — Playing in the Sequoyah County Tournament, Vian (4-1) rallied from a two-point defidit with two minutes to play as Joehanna Morris’ 3-pointer gave the Wolverines the lead for good and moved them into a semifinal game Thursday at 4 p.m. against Roland at Sallisaw High School. Nese Walters had 21 points, 10 rebounds and five steals. Jennifer Hunter had 17 points and Joehanna Morris had 14.

PORUM 63, BRAGGS 50 — The Lady Panthers (5-5) were led in victory by Kaitlin Stinnent with 19 points. Also in double figures for the Lady Panthers was Kori Lindsey with 10 points. The Wildcats also had two double-figure scorers with Hannah Mackey leading with 20 points and Jayci Ray with 15 points.

LOCUST GROVE 57, KEYS 46 — Locust Grove’s Maddison Davis took revenge on Keys, scoring 24 after being held to six points in the first meeting. The leading scorer for the Lady Cougars (6-6) was Ali Nolan with 11 points.

MIDWAY 51, WEBBERS FALLS 36 — At Midway, the Lady Chargers (10-2) started the game on a 16-3 run and didn’t look back. The Lady Chargers had two girls in double figures scoring for the night. Leading the way was Hailee Truesdell with 22 points and behind her was Haelee Crosby with 10.

MULDROW 61, GORE 10 — In the Sequoyah County Tournament, Gore (0-7) had five points each from Fredee Phillips and Morgan Linduff. Muldrow (9-1) was led by Erin Edwards with 11.
