WAGONER 42, JAY 21 – The Wagoner Lady Bulldogs won their first Verdigris Valley Conference game of the season. Wagoner (3-17, 1-10) had three players crack the double-digit barrier with Shareece Robbins scoring 16 points while Kristen Robbins added 13 points and Gabby Roberts finishing with 10 points.

TAHLEQUAH 62, BISHOP KELLY 49  — The Lady Tigers (12-7, 7-2) got the Metro Lakes Conference win by switching up their defense and forcing Bishop Kelly turnovers. Leading scorers for the Lady Tigers were Whitney Wright with 17 points and Alissa Hadley with 11.

VIAN 50, WARNER 31 — The Lady Wolverines raced out to a 12-point lead at the half in defeating the Lady Eagles in Big Eight Conference play on Friday.

The leading scorers for Vian (10-5, 6-0) were Erica Casey with 17 points, Jennifer Hunter with 14 points and Joehanna Morris with 12 points. Warner (6-12, 2-5) was led by Morgan Barton with seven points.

OKTAHA 61, CROWDER 35 — The Class 2A No. 6 Oktaha Lady Tigers (19-1) got 18 points from Makayla Baldridge and 10 each by Shelby Gamble and Jaylie Roper to win their homecoming game against Crowder.

STIGLER 47, HARTSHORE 27 — The Lady Panthers (8-11,5-2) put the game away in the fourth quarter, holding Hartshorne to three points in Black Diamond Conference action. Mackenzie Maxwell and Bailey Wilson scored 10 points each in the win.

GANS 60, PORTER 38  — The Lady Pirates (3-16) fell in a Riverside Conference game. Foul trouble for Porter and an explosive second quarter hurt the Lady Pirates. Tanisha Carmichael led the Lady Pirates with 19 points.

MIDWAY 58, PORUM 34  — The Lady Chargers (19-3, 9-0) got the Riverside Conference win with defense. Joanna Van Brunt led the Lady Chargers with 18 points. Zadie McElhaney had 15 and Hailee Truesdell added 11. Caitlin Stinent and Shelby Smith both led Porum with nine points each.

EUFAULA 61, KELLYVILLE 57 — The Lady Ironheads (13-6, 5-2) got a Big Eight Star Conference win against Kellyville, pulling away in the fourth quarter. Alyssa Banks with 28 points and Janet Hill with 14 points led Eufaula.

BRAGGS 37, KINTA 33  —  The Lady Wildcats (6-16) got the win despite senior Hannah Mackey, Braggs’ leading scorer, being held scoreless. Cassi Harris with 15 points and 12 rebounds led the Lady Wildcats.

HULBERT 52, GORE 10 —The Lady Riders (13-7, 6-2) beat the Lady Pirates (0-15,0-6) in a Big Eight Conference game after taking a 34-4 halftime lead. Leading for the Lady Riders was Tiffaney Thompson with 23 points and Megan Colvin with 10 points led Hulbert.



Boys

TAHLEQUAH 54, BISHOP KELLEY 51 – The Tigers survived a nip-and-tuck affair with Bishop Kelley in which there were 14 lead changes and six ties on Friday in Metro Lakes Conference action.

Tahlequah (6-12, 3-6) was led by Dalton Cunningham and Lain Wright, whose free throw with one minute left gave the Tigers the lead for good, who tallied 14 points each. Matt Alberty and Jake Vader scored 10 points each.

WAGONER 82, JAY 60 – The Bulldogs beat Jay on the strength of a 21-9 second quarter.

Wagoner (9-11, 4-7 Verdigris Valley) had five players score in double figures. Jacob King posted a double-double with a season high 22 points and 12 rebounds while Lateze Clayton scored 18, Kerwin Thomas added 12, Byron Adams had 11 and Decarius Clark finished with 10 points.

EUFAULA 69, KELLYVILLE 49  — The Ironheads (10-9, 5-2) win a Big Eight Star conference game by using a pressing defense in holding Kellyville. Forrest Paden led the Ironheads with 17 points. Devin Garfield (16), Daxton Williams (14) and Cody Faries (11) also scored in double figures.

OKTAHA 57, CROWDER 32  —The 2A No. 4 Tigers (18-2) led 35-16 in th second half in beating Crowder. Will Coplan led Oktaha with 17 points.

WARNER 54, VIAN 49 – The Warner Eagles outscored the Vian Wolverines 19-10 in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.

Warner (11-8, 2-5 Big Eight) was led by Grey Denton who tallied 16 points, the only Eagle to crack the double-figure mark as K.T. Parker and Kyle Taylor came up one-point short with nine points each.

Vian (6-9, 1-6 Big Eight) had two players in double figures with Eric Casey scoring 23 points while Shawn Troutman adding 11 points.

PORUM 40, MIDWAY 30 — The Panthers (10-8,6-1) beat the Chargers (1-18,0-9) in tue Big Eight Star Conference game that was tightly contested until the fourth quarter with one minute left and the Chargers had to start fouling. For the Panthers their leading scorers were Dakota Machon, James Yocham, and Jordan Doke scored nine points each for Porum.

GORE 61, HULBERT 43 —The Pirates (8-9, 3-5) beat the Riders (11-9,6-2) in a Big Eight Conference game in outscoring the Riders  22-13 in the fourth quarter Leading for the Pirates was Derrick Justice with 22 points. Logan Ohl had  16 points and Jake Johnson added 14. Craig Potts with 16 and Mason Fielden with 12 points paced Hulbert.

KINTA 72, BRAGGS 40  — In the Wildcats’ (10-12) loss to Kinta, Peyton York had 14 points.
