OKTAHA 74, CROWDER 56 – It was a night of impressive individual scoring runs for the Tigers, who put four in double figures on the night. Dustin Leach kicked off the first quarter scoring 15 of his 25 points to put Oktaha up 8. Tyler Garcia then scored 11 of the 21 total Tiger points in the second quarter, as he finished up with 15. Brandon Nicholson put in all of his 12 points in the fourth quarter. Logan Gragg added 11 for Oktaha (8-9) who face Sallisaw Central at 8 p.m. Monday.
MIDWAY 57, PORTER 41 – Sean Bispo led the Chargers with 17 and Aidan Miller had 16. Jordan Walehua added 11 for Midway. Nick Jenkins led the Pirates with 10 points and Dean Van Vors pulled down 11 boards in the losing effort. Porter (3-15) goes to Gans at 8 p.m. today. Midway (2-12) goes to Porum at 8 p.m. today.
ARKOMA 58, PORUM 48 – The Panthers couldn’t hang on to a 10 point advantage at the half and were outscored 45-25 in the second half. Austin Wright had 14 and Jordan Doke added 10. Porum (8-11) goes to Midway at 8 p.m. today.
EUFAULA 56, STIGLER 44 — The Ironheads (13-4) won it at the free-throw line going 14-of-16 in the fourth to overcome a 37-34 deficit. Gage Durrett had 14 points for Eufaula, while Daxton Williams had 12 and Devon Siers 10. Blaine Thompson led the Panthers with 13 and Dylan Bryant had 12. Stigler (7-8) hosts Talihina at 8 p.m. today and Eufaula goes to Beggs at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
VINITA 76, WAGONER 56 – The Bulldogs found themselves down 28-14 after one and never could recover. Ya’quoob King had a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards. He also had 4 blocks. Anthony Ashley had 12 points and 9 rebounds, and Kendall Cokk had 10 points. Ethan Dixon led Vinita (9-8) with 23. Wagoner (4-11, 2-7 Verdigris Valley) goes to Jay at 8 p.m. today.
OKTAHA 70, CROWDER 33 – The Class 3A No. 12 Lady Tigers spread the points out, finishing up with four girls in double figures. Kelsey Cantwell led the way with 18. Shea Lynch put home 13, Haley Baldridge added a dozen while Jordan Austin had 10. Garren Yandell had a big night on the glass bringing down nine boards, and Bailey Campbell came off the bench for the Lady Tigers to quietly sneak in 8 points. Next up for Oktaha (15-3) is Sallisaw Central at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
MIDWAY 27, PORTER 21 – The Lady Chargers’ fast-paced offense was slowed and frustrated by the Lady Pirates’ zone defense. Midway led 17-13 at half as the two teams combined for only 18 points in the second half. Haelee Crosby knocked down 10 points for the Lady Chargers (11-7, 5-3 Riverside Conference) and Alexa Miner finished up with 7. Three Lady Pirates had six points each. Next up for Midway is Porum at 6:30 p.m. today. Porter (4-13) goes to Gans at 6:30 p.m. today.
ARKOMA 74, PORUM 38 – The Lady Panthers had three of their five starters sick with flu-like symptoms and a fourth starter was out due to a concussion. Porum found themselves down big early, trailing 20-4 after one, and 36-18 at the half. Freshman Shailan Toney put up 10, and Shelby Smith had 8 in the effort for the Lady Panthers. Porum (14-5, 7-0 Riverside Conference) looks to rebound at Midway at 6:30 p.m. today.
STIGLER 43, EUFAULA 40 – The Lady Panthers found themselves trailing by eight after one, and down 21-16 at half. Nina Echelle led a second-half comeback piling up 14 points along the way. Hannah Garmin and Bailey Wilson each pitched in 8 points a piece for Stigler. Erin Gray led the Lady Ironheads with 13. Stigler (10-5, 4-0 Black Diamond) host Talihina at 6:30 p.m. today. Eufaula (9-8) goes to Class 3A No. 7 Beggs at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
VINITA 66, WAGONER 49 – The Lady Bulldogs were only down two points at the half but Class 4A No. 7 Vinita warmed up in the second half from downtown. Shareece Robbins led Wagoner (3-11, 1-8 Verdigris Valley) with 15 points, and Kristen Robbins and Gabby Roberts scored 8 each. The Lady Bulldogs go to Jay at 6:30 p.m. today.
FORT GIBSON 48, VIAN 34 — For the Tigers (8-6) Austin Cowett (106 pounds), Ryan Waltman (113), Brayden Williams (126), Kyle Martin (152) and Colten Olivares (160) were all winners by fall. Justin Cates (182), Logan Wood (195) and Michael Rosales (220) were all winners by forfeit. Fort Gibson is at the Maverick Conference meet at Wagoner today and Saturday. The loss dropped Vian to 7-4 in duals.
