Tuesday slate nearly wiped clean

Only the Muskogee-Sand Springs basketball games survived the list of prep cancellations or postponements Tuesday.

Kind of.

They were moved up in the day to 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Meanwhile, the two schools’ wrestling teams canceled their match scheduled for Ron Milam Gymnasium last night.

Hartshorne at Stigler was rescheduled for Thursday, Tahlequah at Pryor for Saturday and Fort Gibson at Jay for Feb. 18. No other makeup dates were established.

On the college scene, Bacone’s home basketball games against Huston Tillotson were postponed to next Tuesday and Bacone’s baseball contest at Oklahoma Wesleyan was canceled.
