POND CREEK-HUNTER 51, OKAY 41 (BOYS) – Zac Cagle, Darius Riggs, and Dakota Haley  each scored eight points in the regional semifinal loss for the Mustangs at Olive. Okay (16-7) play Coyle, a  78-41 winner against Watts, in an 8:30 p.m. consolation game today at Coyle.

POND CREEK-HUNTER 71, PORUM 50 (GIRLS) – Porum was down 24-8 in a regional semifinal after one and crept back, trailing 31-25 at the half before a 40-point second half from Pond Creek ended hopes for a comeback. Katie McCullar led the Lady Panthers with 14, while Mesa Adams and Carly Anderson each had nine. Porum (19-6) plays Waukomis, a 51-48 winner against Watts, at Coyle at 6:30 p.m. today.

KREMLIN-HILLSDALE 65, OKAY 41 (GIRLS) –  At Olive, the Lady Mustangs were within six points late in the third but couldn’t overcome the deficit to keep playing. Summer Milligan had 20 points for Okay, which finished up their season at 6-16.


WEBBERS FALLS 54, STRINGTOWN 34 (GIRLS) – At Kiowa, after one period, the ballgame was all tied up at 16. Switching from a zone to man-to-man, the Lady Warriors were able to slow Stringtown, which hit three from downtown in the first quarter and only one after the defensive adjustment. Autumn Cato led the Webbers attack with 19 points and eight steals. Chandler Jerrard knocked down seven and grabbed 10 boards. Webbers Falls (13-12) plays Stuart, a 59-49 winner against Arkoma, in a consolation round game at Kiowa at 1:30 p.m. today.


BRAGGS 74, MCCURTAIN 49 (BOYS) – Ahead 28-27 at the half, the Wildcats (16-9) dominated the second half to move to a regional consolation semifinal against Varnum, a 51-44 loser to Butler, at 3 p.m. today at Henryetta.

Blaine Dunlap had 8 of his 14 points in the third as Braggs outscored McCurtain 19-9. Rowdy Ensminger who had 26 points to lead all scorers, had 10 in 27-13 fourth quarter. Payton York had 22 points and eight assists.

RED OAK 77, BRAGGS 23 (GIRLS) – The Lady Wildcats found themselves down 20 to the Class B No. 2 powerhouse, and never recovered. Kymber Igert managed eight points and Kyla Smith finished with five points and eight boards. Braggs (7-15) faces Henryetta-Wilson, a 45-37 winner against Hanna, at Henryetta at 6:30 p.m. today.
